About Bruna Martinuzzi

As President of Clarion Enterprises Ltd., Bruna Martinuzzi has helped numerous leaders to achieve personal effectiveness. She strongly believes that self-awareness precedes self-management and she assists leaders in enhancing their self-awareness as the stepping stone for self-development and for achieving their personal best.

Bruna is a certified Leadership, Emotional Intelligence and Presentation Skills facilitator and consultant. Her background incorporates 30 years of experience in senior management and executive leadership positions in the resource and technology fields. She is an accredited consultant for a number of Emotional Intelligence assessments, including the Bar-On EQ-i 2.0 and the Goleman's ECI. Bruna is also a certified coach for DeBono's Six Thinking Hats, a Tom Peters licensed facilitator for The Leadership Challenge, The Leader's Voice and a qualified Myers-Briggs® consultant. Along with expert facilitation, leadership development and presentation skills, Bruna brings to her interventions several years of executive coaching, having been certified as an Executive Coach from The Business School of Royal Roads University.

Bruna speaks at numerous events such as the MICROSOFT ExPo Leadership Conferences in the U.S., China and throughout Europe, The TELUS Leadership Forums, and the annual meeting of Westlink's Technology Commercialization Program. Bruna lectures at various universities, including the Simon Fraser University MBA Program and the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business MBA-PDP program.

She is the author of the five-star book, The Leader as a Mensch: Become the Kind of Person Others Want to Follow. She is also a leadership columnist at The American Express OPEN Forum Idea Hub. She is currently working on her next book scheduled for publication in March 2012.

Fluent in six languages, Bruna delivers training to international audiences in China, Europe and The Middle East. She holds a B.A. and a M.A. from the University of British Columbia and is the recipient of several awards, including the B.C. Workplace Excellence Award For Unusual Innovation (1992), the Izaak W. Killam Memorial Pre-doctoral Fellowship for three years in a row and the Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council of Canada Award.
